The International Max Planck Research School for Gravity at the Extreme: from Theory to Observation offers a comprehensive doctoral training with the aim of obtaining a PhD degree. The research carried out in the IMPRS covers the many facets of gravitational physics that are represented by the research groups that form part of the IMPRS. It comprises the two locations of the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Potsdam and Hannover together with its university partners Leibniz University Hannover, Humboldt University Berlin, University of Potsdam.
